• Horse Boarding

Hammer’s Farm has two barns, six pastures, lighted outdoor riding ring, six paddocks, six runs and miles of trails (ranging from beginner to expert) that would make any horse and owner happy.  Our Self-Care Boarding package offers the basic shelter of one dedicated stall and access to green pastures.  It is your decision as to how much your horse is stalled.  As this is “Self-Care” the Horse Owner is expected to do the watering, feeding and clean-up for their animal.

We offer separate pastures for geldings and mares. A few periods out of the year all the horses are pulled from the pasture, usually in the spring to allow new growth and in the fall for re-seeding.  During that time you must see to the needs of your horse daily as they will be in the stall or paddock areas.

We are dependent, as is any farm enterprise, on the weather to provide a lush pasture.  Rainfall during the summer will determine if your horse will require supplemental hay.
